During the Fox portion of the Television Critics Association CEO Dana Walden was asked about the Hellfire Club TV show they are developing for FX and when it might be premiere.
Walden responded with:
“Unlikely it would be the fall, Potentially midseason but no immediate plans. We’re still working on Hellfire Club. Obviously those executive producers are very busy with the film franchise and the FX show, so not sure.”
Writers Evan Katz and Manny Coto, who co-created the drama, are exiting, Also out are Patrick McKay and John D. Payne, who came up the the story for the drama alongside Katz and Coto and were set to pen the script. A search is under way for a new writer.
Time will tell if this is just a small road bump or a much larger issue with the series.
