Every week I pick the top 5 comics to read. This week we have a ton of Marvel Comics I’m looking forward to.

Howard the Duck meets Galactus? Sign me up!

She’s obsessed, she’s powerful, she’s ALMOST the new herald of Galactus! And like the rest of the universe, SCOUT is after Howard. But with an eye to ending the hunger of the Devourer of Worlds! Plus: The Silver Surfer! The Stranger! The Guardians of the Galaxy! All in a story of Howard on the run we’re calling … FOWL MOVEMENT! Oh god, are we really calling it that?

Nova #4 Cover

Nova #4

I normally don’t read Nova but this call back to The Fantastic Four #1 from 1961 has be intrigued. Plus it has Miles Morales and Ms. Marvel in it, if written well this comic might be something I’d want to continue reading. Plus who doesn’t  love Mole Man.

HOLY MOLE-Y! Nova’s lost underground in New York! But his fellow Avengers are hot on his tail!

Spider #3 Cover

Spidey #3

So far I’ve really enjoyed this series. It takes Peter Parker back to his roots and has him back in high school. Its also a great place to start younger readers as so far all of the comics don’t expect you to know anything about the character.

IN THE JAWS OF THE LIZARD! As Peter Parker finds his footing at school and with GWEN STACY…SPIDER-MAN finds himself face-to-face with the LIZARD!

Obi-wan Anakin #2 Cover

Obi-wan & Anakin #2

I wasn’t really that impressed with the first issue. I’m hoping this second one is much better. I love the idea of a air ship world that they visit thats not nearly has advanced as the rest of the Galaxy. Plus the idea of filling in the gaps between the Phantom Menace and The Clone Wars is always welcome.

Master and Padawan find themselves stranded on an unfamiliar world…a world of strange, primitive technology and dangerous natives. But even if they can save themselves…why were they called to this world?

Doctor Strange #5 Cover

Doctor Strange #5

Doctor Strange has been one of my favorite comics since the Marvel relaunch its just weird. I’m loving that they are showing that using all this magic over the years is having a great toll on him physically. The art is fantastic its weird and wonderful, and if you look through it enough you find all sorts of little details.

The Witchfinder Wolves are here and Doctor Strange is in trouble. The Empirikul is coming, Magic’s days are numbered and Strange is not ready!
