Every week I pick the top 5 comics that I’m looking forward to reading.

Old Man Logan #2 Cover

Old Man Logan #2

In this issue Old Man Logan tries to kill the Totally Awesome Hulk, his first appearance in comics was against the Hulk so I have a soft spot for a Wolverine vs Hulk story.

For Old Man Logan, home is a wasteland in the distant future, one overridden by hillbilly Hulks who extort and torture civilians for fun. But now, mysteriously finding himself in the present, Logan is hellbent on preventing that future from coming to pass. And the best way to keep the Hulk population from surging in the future is to eliminate them altogether in the present…starting with Amadeus Cho, the Totally Awesome Hulk!

James Bond #4 Cover

James Bond #4

These Bond comics have been pretty good so far. Its much more faithful to the Ian Fleming James Bond from the novels than it is to the Bond we all know from the movies.

James Bond is alone in Berlin, with nothing but the clothes on his back and the gun in his hand. When help is offered from an unexpected source, Bond has no choice but to accept it – even though it may guarantee that he doesn’t live through the night.

Ms Marvel #4 Cover

Ms. Marvel #4

As always I’m looking forward to Ms. Marvel, its always a refreshing comic and this issue starts a new story arc, a perfect place to jump on board.

The Hugo Award winning series kicks off its next big adventure! It’s a strange new world for Ms. Marvel. Being an Avenger and a regular teenager isn’t as awesome as she though it would be. But that won’t stop Kamala! She might just need a little help from her friends.

BATMAN:TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #3 Cover 2

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #3

This is the 3rd issue in this limited-crossover and so far its actually a lot of fun. The turtles here are more serious than their cartoon versions are which makes for a much better interaction with Batman. Give it a try.

The Batcave is overrun with turtles—and its landlord is not at all pleased about it. But Batman’s going to have to put aside his animosity toward his uninvited guests because he’s about to have his first run-in with their deadliest enemy, Shredder! Meanwhile, the Turtles must face up to the grim possibility that they might never get back to their world.

Star Wars Darth Vader 16 Cover

Darth Vader #16

The Darth Vader series has been stellar so far for its whole run. And with a new story arc starting with this issue, its a great place to get started.

The planet Shu-Torin (introduced in the Darth Vader Annual) is revolting. • Darth Vader is tasked with leading a military assault. • Has Vader’s rise to glory begun?
